When Washington State opens up its season against Loyola Marymount on Friday, Chanelle Molina is expected to be in the starting lineup.
In a release sent out by the Cougars on Wednesday, Molina was listed as one of the starting guards. She will be the only freshman in the starting lineup.
Molina is the first five-star recruit in program history, so there are some obvious expectations for the former Wildcat.
Earlier this week in an exhibition game against Alaska-Anchorage, Molina played a team-high 23 minutes. She recorded seven points and four assists in the contest, but was just 1 of 5 from the field with three turnovers.
